Used to look forward to seeing anything building at Hessle when passing on the train going to Hull for North Sea Ferries.

O.N. 364437. 315g. 0n. 33.86 x 9.63 x 4.045 metres.
Two, 8-cyl. 4 S.C.S.A. (254 x 305mm) Ruston 8RKCM vee type engines by Ruston Diesels Ltd.,Newton-le-Willows, geared to a single controllable pitch propeller operating within a Kort steerable nozzle. 3,500bhp. 13½ kts. 50 tons bollard pull.
16.7.1974: Ordered from Richard Dunston (Hessle) Ltd., Hessle (Yard No. H.908) by Alexandra Towing Company Ltd.
24.9.1976: Launched.
12.2.1977: Completed (£660,000).
6.1983: Sold to the Government of The Islamic Republic of Iran-(Ports and Shipping Organization) and
renamed GHADIR.
1.2008: Sold to Ara Bakhtar Shipping Company, Bandar Abbas.
11.2010: Still in service.
