A fine study of the famous paddler of the MSC and NE Coast
1907, 156grt
J.T.Eltringham, South Shields (263) as OLD TRAFFORD for the Manchester Ship Canal Company
Sold 1950 to the Ridley Steam Tug Co. and renamed RELIANT, seen above in their colours on the Tyne
Sold 9/1956 to Seaham Dock Company
Her last towage job was on 30/4/1969, then she was taken to National Maritime Museum, Greenwich and re-erected in the Neptune Hall .... but unfortunately, since removed and dismantled

Nearing the end - reliant assisting one of the "Fulham" colliers out of Seaham Harbour on 1 April 1969.
