SUN XXIV (1962 - 1992)
O.N. 302876. 113g. 0n. 88' 3" x 22' 11" x 9' 10¼".
6-cyl. 4 S.C.S.A. (15" x 18") Mirrlees KMR-6 type engine by Mirrlees, Bickerton & Day Ltd.,Stockport. 720bhp. 10 tons bollard pull. Post 2005: 25 tons bollard pull.
11.12.1961: Launched by Pollock, Sons & Company Ltd., Faversham (Yard No. 2127) for W. H.J. Alexander Ltd., London.
4.6.1962: Completed.
27.1.1969: Sold to London Tugs Ltd. (Ship Towage (London) Ltd., managers).
4.1976: Resulting from a take-over, owners restyled as Alexandra Towing Company (London) Ltd.
4.1979: Transferred to Alexandra Towing Company Ltd., Liverpool.
1992: Sold to David Miller (trading as Sub-Search Marine Services), Newhaven and renamed KINGSTON.
1997: Sold to unspecified Dutch owners and later arrested at Newhaven for drug smuggling.
1999: Sold to Pounds Shipowners & Shipbreakers Ltd., Portsmouth.
2000: Sold to BP Norse Marine Ltd., Douglas IOM (Jan Elingsen, Southampton,manager).
2001: Sold to Jon A. Evelegh (trading as Griffin Towage & Marine, Southampton)
and placed under St Vincent & The Grenadines flag.
2002: Re-registered at London.
2005: Rebuilt at Macduff Shipyards Ltd., Scotland.
11.2010: Still in service.

Top photo is immingham or Grimsby George - I'd say 1 quay at immingham.

Edit, yes you are correct Patrick, top one Immingham.
