NEATH (1951 - 1962)
O.N. 137547. 219g. 78n. 100.4 x 23.5 x 12.3 feet.
C.2-cyl. (21" & 44" x 27") engine by the shipbuilder. 83nhp. 850ihp.
14.11.1916: Launched as WILLIAM POULSON by J. Cran & Company, Leith (Yard No. 109) for the Alexandra Towing Company Ltd.
3.1917: Completed.
1.4.1917 until 24.11.1919: Hired by the Admiralty.
12.1945: Overrun and sunk by HIGHLAND MONARCH ( 14,137g./1928 ) with the loss of 4 lives at Southampton. Salvaged and repaired.
1951: Renamed NEATH.
1962: Sold to Haulbowline Industries Ltd. for demolition at Passage West, Cork.
