YEOMAN (4) (1953 - 1963)
O.N. 180274. 55g. 73.6 x 17.0 x 7.4 feet.
C.2-cyl. (12½” & 26"x 18") engine by the North Eastern Marine Engineering Company (1938) Ltd., Sunderland. 260ihp.
13.6.1944: Launched as TID 90 by R. Dunston Ltd., Thorne (Yard No. T. 499) for the Ministry of War Transport.
7.1944: Completed.
194x: Transferred to the Admiralty.
12.1945: Laid up.
1952: Sold to Lloyds Albert Yard and Motor Packet Steam Service Ltd., (Risdon, Beazley Ltd.,managers), Southampton and renamed ASHFORD 90.
20.3.1953: Purchased by the United Towing Company Ltd., Hull and renamed YEOMAN.
29.4.1963: Arrived in the Nieuw Waterweg in tow of FOREMAN enroute to Hendrik-ido-Ambacht for demolition by Arie Rijsdijk-Bos & Zonen.
