TUGMAN (1964 - 1983) twin screw tug.
O.N. 305760. 98g. 83' 9" x 26' 7" x 10' 10"
Two, 6-cyl. 4 S.C.S.A. (8¾"x 11½") Blackstone EVS6M type engines by Blackstone & Company Ltd., Stamford, single reverse reduction geared to twin screw shafts. 920bhp. 10kts. 11 tons bollard pull.
23.7.1964: Launched by Humber St. Andrews Engineering Company Ltd., Hull (Yard No. 5) for the United Towing Company Ltd., Hull.
18.9.1964: Completed.
2.10.1964: Delivered.
21.1.1970: Owners restyled as United Towing Ltd.
1974: Humber Tugs Ltd., appointed as managers.
17.3.1978: Owners restyled as North British Maritime Group Ltd., (same managers).
24.8.1983: Sold to Roger Klyne Shipping Ltd., Lowestoft and renamed ANGLIAN.
1984: Sold to Klyne Winnie Tugs Ltd., Lowestoft.
1988: Sold to G. Brindley, Lowestoft.
1989: Sold to Imperial Tugs Ltd., Lowestoft, with the intention to be renamed IMPELLANT.
13.1.1992: Delivered to Masterman Iron and Steel Shipbreakers, Bloors Wharf, R. Medway.
5.1994: Purchased by J.Dean Tugs Ltd., Hull and renamed ANGLIAN.
2007: Sold to Dave Potter, Hull.
2008: Sold to unspecified owners and still in service – no further details located.
