SEAMAN (3) (1985 - 1990) twin screw tug.
O.N. 390365. 527g. 150n. 581d. 36.28 x 11.13 x 5.101 metres.
Two, 8-cyl. 4 S.C.S.A. (270 x 305mm) Ruston 8RK270M type engines by Ruston Diesels Ltd., Newton-le-Willows, single reduction geared to twin directional propellers. 4,598bhp. 13kts. 70 tons bollard pull. Thwartship thrust propeller forward.
4.5.1984: Keel laid by Cochrane Shipbuilders Ltd., Selby (Yard No. 129) for United Towing (Keith) Ltd. (Humber Tugs Ltd., managers), Hull.
26.11.1984: Launched.
28.2.1985: Completed.
1986: Owners restyled as Humber Tugs (Keith) Ltd. (same managers).
10.1989: Sold to Humber Tugs Ltd.
12.1990: Sold to Rimorchiatori Riuniti Porto di Genova S.p.A., Italy and renamed GENUA. Back-chartered to Humber Tugs Ltd, for a short period.
3.1997: Sold to Classic Marine, Honduras (West Coast Towing Company Ltd., Swansea, managers) and renamed LADY HAMMOND.
10.1997: Klyne Tugs (Lowestoft) Ltd., Lowestoft appointed as managers.
18.10.2006: Sold to Marine Capabilities LLC (Al Bawardi Marine Services), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
11.2010: Still in service.
