Delivered 30-12-1928 by Scheepswerf van E.J.Smit & Zoon - Westerbroek. (609)
21,08 x x 5,02 x 2,30 x 1,86 m.
76 grt.
1097.Z.Gron.1928; 26.01097 IVR
3 cylinder Triple Expansion with boiler 69 m2 from the yard; later motorised.
160/220 ihp
In 1932 in charter.
11-12-1937 out of charter due to selling as WOELWATER for the price of f 25.000,== to B.Oosterhuis - Delfzijl.

13-12-1937 as WOELWATER to G. Blom v/d Vlies - Sliedrecht and same day sold and renamed HAROLD BROWN by Shoreham Harbour Trustees - Shoreham
196x as HAROLD BROWN to Dan Angus and in use as a houseboat at Southampton.

Interesting, however I have these details:
1938 HAROLD BROWN, Shoreham Harbour Trustees, Shoreham
196x HAROLD BROWN, Dan Angus, houseboat at Southampton.

As Piet van Damme noted on TT that the current owner identified her as the former WOELWATER that seems pretty definite.

(Sorry that my two 2008 photos so small - cannot find the disk with the originals)

Found this photo of the WOELWATER obvious as a motortug.
Is it the same tug? Almost impossible.
Photo taken by Gerrit de Boer.
Puzzling as she was sold to U.K. as HAROLD BROWN before W.W.II already.
Other possibility, this m.tug WOELWATER is the ex WOELWATER of Wagenborg, Delfzijl with the same 'klapmuts' etc..
