This one has always been a problem regarding her origin.
There seems to be something wrong with the dimensions 24.33 x 4.45m - she seems too long or too thin
On top of that, I cannot find anything to match in the lists of any of the yards near Colchester (Rowhedge, Wivenhoe, Brightlingsea), or indeed anywhere else. It is possible that she was laid up on the River Colne when purchased in 1927.

However, it seems that there is some confusion between this one and PIERRE

5/1939 requisitioned by Corps de Marine/Het Marinekorps for coastal defence service
x/6/1940-20/4/1944 on Admiralty (Royal Navy) service as PIERRE VALENTIN LETZER
21/4/1944-14/10/1944 on commercial service (mng R & J H Rea Ltd)
28/11/1944-(1945?) on Admiralty service
