HMS LOWESTOFT (1934)

Post by davidships » Sat Jun 09, 2012 3:51 pm

Patrol frigate/escort sloop HMS LOWESTOFT was buit at Devonport Dockyard in 1934. In 1946 she was sold and became the mercantile MIRAFLORES owned by "Tangerois"- then scrapped at Boom or Zeebrugge, Belgium in 1955.

MIRAFLORES is here amongst the smaller craft in the Bassin de Commerce at Dunkerque.

Does anyone know what commercial service she undertook during that decade?
