- RN Warships and Auxiliaries built on the Clyde

Post by Woody » Thu Dec 16, 2010 12:12 am

This is a revised edition of John’s Clydebuilt Series from Clydesite, which is now unable to present it in its original form.
It will obviously take a little while to build up and in the meantime John’s series will be kept up to date, (site permitting).

Entries in the series consist of vessels in the Clydebuilt Ships Database and mainly based on vessels in Colledge’s books, with a few exceptions. For example:
Hospital Ships
Military Ships

Ships from some large groups of small vessels have only been included if an image is available. For example:
Fishing vessels
Landing craft
Tugs

Comments, suggestions, and additional information and images are welcome

I will post entries as and when

Hello Woody, I am at present compiling a book due to be published by History Press featuring only Clyde built ships. Noting your postings do you have details of the original photographer or owner of the copyright.
best regards,
Jim
