Auxiliary Patrol Paddle Vessel - 0107
Launched by A & J Inglis Pointhouse Glasgow, Yard No 267, on 14/3/1901 as a Paddle Steamer for Cosens & Co Ltd, Weymouth. Foundered 28/7/1916

215.5 ft x 27.1 ft x 8.9 ft
Side Paddle, Triple expansion three crank engines, diagonal, 1300ihp giving 16 knots
2 x 6pdr

Completed May 1901
23/5/1916 requisitioned as a Patrol Vessel for service in the Mediterranean based at Alexandria.
28/7/1916 foundered on passage to Malta near Oran, probably due to shipping water through a port.
2/8/1919 another Auxiliary Patrol Vessel, HMS Princess Mary II, struck her wreck while been used as a minesweeper and sank

PRINCESS MARY II went aground on the wreck of the battleship MAJESTIC off the Dardanelles, not on MAJESTIC II.
