Sailed on her as C/O for 2 years up until 1999. In my opinion she had the best car deck layout of any vessel in the fleet. (Haven't been on Loch Seaforth as yet). Whether a full load of artics or a full load of cars, including the mezz decks, you could load/unload quickly and safely well within the time allowed. And with her side ballast tanks you could always keep her upright.

However, my engineering friends have subsequently said that Calmac chose the wrong engines for her, and in light of her recurring engine problems over the years, including changing over to heavy fuel, they may well be right.
