Three more Port boats - here is a suggestion why don't we make a heading for well known British shipping co's and let everyone add photos, it would then build up into photo library for each company - I am sure their are plenty of Ben Blue Funnel and Clan pics out there.

If we start sub-sections by line we might be here forever ... an alternative is to just to keep on in this way be using 'post reply' once someone has started the line off.

Here is another newspaper cutting, I saved this one while in Hobart - the PNP loading apples for Europe and UK - I did this run two season running - it took about three weeks to load a full cargo.

The conversions of Ports Melbourne and Sydney to passenger ships was remarkable to say the least. This is PORT MELBOURNE's transformation.

Built by John Brown, PORT VICTOR started life off as an aircraft carrier HMS NAIRANA and converted back after WW2.

Clyde built, PORT MONTREAL came from Harland and Wolff at Govan in 1954.
