Paddler for the Southern Railway's Portsmouth to Ryde service she was completed for them in June. Serving British Railways/ Rail/ Sealink she was taken out of service in 1969 and I believe actually went to the Thames where she did short trips.
In the 1970s she was moved to Binfield on the Medina River on the Isle of Wight becoming RYDE QUEEN as a proposed marina and club.
She was damaged by fire in the late 1970s but restored but over the years various owners failed and she fell into an extremely dilapidated and derelict state being finally broken up for safety reasons in 2010.
