As you probably know, Wreckmaster's proposal has been acknowledged by BB, who has promised a response today. That should be allowed to take its course.

Then there are separate submission pages for front-page photo and for gallery photos.
It is possible to add additional fields by coding info in the existing boxes (Bruce A has, for example, used that to create a "depth" heading, for individual vessels, rather than annotate info in the "draught" field)

The site is deed anyway even when it is up and running not a patch on what it used to be, foghorn board posters you can count on one hand, I sometimes wonder if it is worth my time and effort. :(

You've had more response than most! Given the hassles he's had with the site hosts over the past few days I suspect that he's a bit more frazzled than normal. Not an excuse I know, just keep at him gently.
