Michael Drewery photos

Post by Patrick Hill » Sat Jan 15, 2011 2:37 pm

My friend of many years Michael sadly passed away in December. He had been taking photos of ships since the 1960's, mostly on the Humber but at many other ports too. His collection is to be donated to the WSS and I am in the process of making the arrangements. However, his family have agreed that I can scan some of his work and place it on the internet in his memory. To this end I have selected a sample of his works and will over the months be scanning these B&W prints and creating a web page (or site) for them to reside on. I will also upload some of his photos to this site where appropriate - so look out for tugs, Clans, Bens etc..

Sad news Patrick, but nice to know that his collection will be appreciated by others.

Good of his family to agree to share them via the internet Patrick and look forward to more.
