FLYING PHANTHOM

Post by Bill Harvey » Wed Dec 12, 2012 7:25 am

The following information was posted yesterday on another forum

“There is a report in the Greenock Telegraph today Tuesday 11th December stating that criminal proceedings under the health and safety at work act 1974 have been raised at Dumbarton Sheriff Court involving the Port authority “Clydeport” and “Svitzer” the operators of the Flying Phantom, although no dates have been announced”.

Strange that this story hasn't apparently been picked up by other media subsequently (or at least not on-line).
The GT article sits behind their pay-wall at http://www.greenocktelegraph.co.uk/news ... g-tragedy/

Flying Phantom (or what remains of her) is still afloat at KGV Dock, Glasgow, still under the control of the Procurator Fiscal, I understand.

That's been put back. I'm sure it was originally intended for May.
