Goldon Bull Inbound to Hunterston

Post by Craig » Sun Jun 01, 2014 11:07 pm

Gentlemen (and ladies if there are any subscribed)

Been lurking around the site for a while but never had the opportunity to post anything before now.

While out messing about on the river yesterday we were lucky enough to catch the bulk carrier Golden Bull inbound to Hunterston. Managed to get Golden Ice leaving earlier as well but I'll try posting one picture and, if it works, I'll post the others !

Thanks for your kind comments.

We have a Quicksilver 540 Cruiser. Its a small day boat which my son talked me into buying a year back - but I'm glad he did as we've had some great days out around the firth over the last year. The boat is moored at Largs Yacht Haven which is a great little spot. Might be tempted to buy some thing a wee bit bigger later in the year....

Meanwhile here's a shot of Golden Ice outbound from Hunterston and the two tugs waiting for her sister ship inbound.
