The aerial view only serves to remind me of the absolute delight as ship enthusiast of travelling to and from work in town on the number 4 Corporation bus from Drumoyne passing the Govan Drydock, Princes Dock and Kingston Dock. These were the days!

Blue Funnel's AUTOMEDON at King George V Dock in March 1976 with a Nigerian National funnel and flying an Elder Dempster houseflag.
Scotts' built her in 1948 as CYCLOPS being renamed in 1975. She ended her days on the Clyde arriving at Dalmuir on 25th August 1977 for scrapping.

Shell tanker RAIMA, one of two at Dalmuir for breaking in February 1979. She was built by Bremer Vulkan in 1954 as GLEBULA and was subsequently renamed SHELL CHARAIMA and CHARAIMA, that name shortened for her last voyage.
