Cable Ship MONARCH

Built for the Post Office as was then, this cable ship was launched from Swan Hunter's on 9th August 1945 being completed in February 1946. She was renamed in 1969 becoming CS MONARCH then in 1970 SENTINEL being broken up as that at Blyth in October 1977.
