For family history purposes I am looking for information about a sailing vessel "Northampton" built in 1866 by Charles Connell & Company, Glasgow for Merchant Shipping Co, London.

I am particularly interested in a voyage from London, England to Sydney, Australia, arriving in Sydney about 28 April 1873. I have found a passenger and crew list that suggests to me that the Northampton was principally a freight vessel with a limited number of passenger berths.

What type of freight did she carry.
How many voyages did she make? To where?

I hope someone can give me either answers to the questions I have or direct me to where I may find these answers?
