Re: Fairplay 22

Hi Henk

Thanks for the reply. I know how long the investigations can take - I am still involved in the on going investigation into the Flying Phantom accident. I was only asking incase I had missed any posts with any new info.

I have not heard anything since the Fairplay 22 was re floated. Is there any news on how or what caused this terrible accident?

Thanks,

Upper river closed today for art exhibition

Today the upper Clyde is closed to traffic as a rope is to be put up back and forth across the river for an art exhibition.

See http://www.clydeport.co.uk/cms_uploaded/NTM_45_10_-_Upper_River_Clyde_-_River_Closure.pdf for more details.

Hopefully within the next few weeks she will emerge ready to have her bulwarks re fitted, couple of planks done and a full coat of paint ready for next season. Just wait till y...

Re: Shelagh update

For Motorsailer: The engine was when I got her and old Ford 4D series with Parsons manual box. We got it running when I moved the boat at first but it has since been removed. Now in place is a ford 2.2 Transit DI full marine unit driving through 2:1 Borg warner gearbox. Also has a wing, however it i...

Unknown at Liverpool..........any ID

Took this a while ago in Liverpool, I can't remember which dock.
Can anyone ID and give any details and history?
No reason in particular, just thought it is a nice looking ship.

Thanks
