10203 was 2000hp and was not fitted for multiple working. She was in essence the pioneer English Electric Type 4. This cutting shows her working the Royal Scot on her own in the Lune Gorge.

One of the eight Priam Class for Blue Funnel and Glen Lines she was built by Vickers Armstrongs on Tyneside in 1967. 1973 saw her transfer to Blue Funnel as PERSEUS and sold to John Swire's China Navigation Company in 1978 became their KWANGSI. 1981 saw her sold on again as ASIA DRAGON and as SAUDI ...

FLINTSHIRE

One of the series of four built for Glen Line she was completed by the Van der Giessen yard in Holland in 1962. I took this in London in 1966.
In 1978 she became ORIENT EXPRESS and was scrapped at Kaohsiung in May 1979.

In 1967 sold on she became GOLDEN STAR and was broken up at BU Hong Kong in July 1970.

BANBURY was sold in 1982 becoming LADY MARINA seen here and after a few other names as MSC ELENA she arrived at Alang on September 3rd 2001 for breaking up.

52000dwt bulker built in Spain in 1970 and as far as I know was taken over during fitting out by British and Commonwealth. She became known as Grim Jim......
This was taken in Newcastle in 1975 when repairing at Wallsend.
She was scrapped as TYNE in 1982.

USS JOHN F KENNEDY

Photos of the US Navy's last conventionally powered carrier. She went into commission in 1968 serving till 2007 and is now destined it is hoped to be a Museum Ship. Another JFK is building at present and expected to go into service around 2020.

TSESAREVICH

From the Grimaldis in Genoa the Russian battleship TSESAREVICH. Of French design she was built by the Forges et Chantiers at La seyne Sur Mer shipyard from June 1899 to 1903
Renamed GRASHDANIN in 1917 she was scrapped in 1922.

Ebay purchase of the Campbell paddler at I think Lundy.
She was built by Charles Hill in 1946 a running mate later to CARDIFF QUEEN.
Withdrawn in 1967 BRISTOL QUEEN left Cardiff on March 21st 1968 under tow to Flushing for scrapping.

Slide bought on Ebay of the paddler in a backdrop of modern London. She was built at Southampton by Day, Summers and Company of Northam in 1927. In 1966 following withdrawal she was bought for use as a floating casino. This did not materialise and after years in limbo became a restaurant on the Tham...

FLEETBANK, one of the series fitting out at Sunderland in November 1972. Built at the Deptford yard she remained with Bank Line till 1981 when she was renamed FLORIDA. As BERRY she was broken up at Gadani Beach in November 1986 following a grounding.

Taken on the Kiel Canal in August 1986. This LPG tanker was built in Holland at Waterhuizen in 1984.
She became HENRIK THOLSTRUP in 1987 and as SIGAS MATE was broken up at Aliaga in 2009.

Courtesy John Winters' collection this card of the Coast Line's vessel built in 1911 by Williamson's of Workington as VOLHYNIA for the Volana Shipping Company of Liverpool being acquired in 1920.
In 1932 she became MILLISLE and was sunk by aerial attack in the Bristol Channel on March 21st 1941.

In 1958 she became RINO ESPOSITO and as ZAFFIRO grounded off Cape Bengut, Algeria on May 12th 1970 becoming a total loss.

As launch day for the new Cunarder at Clydebank approached, speculation abounded as to her name. Some thought an old White Star name was being revived as CELTIC had appeared on her stern at one stage....

Shell tanker RAIMA, one of two at Dalmuir for breaking in February 1979. She was built by Bremer Vulkan in 1954 as GLEBULA and was subsequently renamed SHELL CHARAIMA and CHARAIMA, that name shortened for her last voyage.

Blue Funnel's AUTOMEDON at King George V Dock in March 1976 with a Nigerian National funnel and flying an Elder Dempster houseflag.
Scotts' built her in 1948 as CYCLOPS being renamed in 1975. She ended her days on the Clyde arriving at Dalmuir on 25th August 1977 for scrapping.
