There may have been 133 survivors from Airedale. Much more significant are the 42 men lost in her. These Hunts had a tendency to take a lot of men down with them when sunk, by whatever means. The area around the after 4" and depth charge magazines were very vulnerable with many suffering explosions ...

Apparently, from what i've gathered on the big wide web, the last coal burning trawler to land a catch in the UK.
