Hi Janet,welcome to the nutters club!There is no easy way I'm afraid,it's mainly a case of keeping an eye on the arrivals board and the Marine Traffic panel which shows shipping in real time,if you have tablet or smartphone you can purchase an app.(it's not expensive)and check what's coming upriver....

The Agia Pisti came up on Sat.the 5th,sadly I couldn't make it.However I got her at shieldhall on Sun.Needless to say,after a false start on Mon.she left on Tues afternoon,I managed to get her by the skin of my teeth at Clydebank.Cheers Williemac

Federal Yukon(MHL-00-20,659)arrived last night at Shieldhall with a load of wheat? from Montreal.Sadly,too dark and wet to get her from the bridge,however,this is her at Shieldhall.Maybe get lucky when she leaves.

Hi Allan,I don't know if there is a size limit in K.G.V. however,Triton was actually berthed on Shieldhall quayside,which is where all the bulkers go to discharge the animal feed.Unless I've made a mess of it there should a pic.to show you

Hi Norry,years ago we occasionally used the slip at Newark Castle,best to judge your return on high tide as the slip tends to dry out on low,hope that helps,williemac

hI there were four at Shieldhall quayside,the two as stated the other two were Barbaros(F244)inside berth and Aviere(F583)
