Tug Cullercoats pictured on the river Tyne around 1965ish. She was built in 1898 by J.P. Rennoldson & Sons, South Shields as Cyclop for the Amsterdam Tug & Salvage Co. She was sold to France Fenwick Tyne & Wear Co. Ltd. and renamed Cullercoats. She was sold to Clayton & Davie Ltd., Dunston in May 19...

Out on trials from A&P, Hebburn yard this afternoon in the stotty down rain (with i'd taken me brolly). When she arrived the exhausts came out just above the water line and were causing problmes so she now has two funnels.

Yes, it's from last nights Gazette. The funnel marking caught my eye as i'm certain a recent photo i got hold of has the same marking but not sure if it's the same ship as i cannot find photo (filing system none existant).
